Weekly Newsletter

Mrs. Wieferich's and Mrs. Freeland's Weekly Note

February 20-24

March is Reading Month!

Are you ready for "Oceans of Fun" as we catch the reading wave? We are! Our entire elementary school will be getting fishy during the month of March. We have several fun activities and events planned to make this reading month fun and memorable. We will be turning the hallways into "aquarium-like" tunnels with ocean artwork made by the students. Each child will also have their picture taken with a special ocean creature. Our kick-off will be on March 1st in the afternoon. Your child will have the chance to earn Reading Reward Tickets if they participate in nightly reading during the week to earn special prizes. Each Friday of the month will be a different "beachy" dress-up day with a special activity. What a FUN month!
